The HI-707 Nitrite Low Range Checker offers a simple, accurate, and affordable way to measure low concentrations of nitrite in water.
Designed as a more reliable alternative to traditional chemical test kits, this compact device delivers quick and precise results in just a few easy steps. It uses a fixed wavelength LED and a silicon photo detector to provide the accuracy of professional instrumentation at a fraction of the cost. Operating with an adaptation of the EPA Diazotisation method 354.1, the reaction between nitrite and the reagent creates a pink tint in the sample, which the checker measures with high resolution and accuracy.
